Saarbr\u00fccker Tage f\u00fcr elektroakustiche und visuelle Musik\u00a0\u00bb in Saarbr\u00fccken (Germany). The eviMus Festival is a four-day Festival focussing on new music in all of its forms. All events are free and open to the public. All composers, regardless of nationality, age or career stage, are invited to apply. Since the number of applications exceeds the places available, there will be a selection process.<\/p>\n<p>The submitted works must fulfill the following requirements:<\/p>\n<p>1. Category A &#8211; Fixed media:<br \/>\nFour channel up to eight channel works for fixed media (Format: WAV or AIFF files, stereo works are not going to be considered)<\/p>\n<p>2. Category B &#8211; Instrument\/electronic:<br \/>\nSolo instrument\/voice and fixed media or live electronics (stereo or more channels). The organization will decide if instrumentalists are available. Works for flute and electronic are desired.<\/p>\n<p>3. Category C &#8211; Video:<br \/>\nWorks for video and music are desired (stereo or more channels)<\/p>\n<p>4. Category D &#8211; Installation:<br \/>\nSound Installations and Interactive Media (composer has to provide all non-standard equipment)<\/p>\n<p>Composers can submit several works (but only one work per composer will be include in the concerts). Works which last 8 minutes or less are preferred; no work should exceed 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>How to apply:<\/p>\n<p>All applications must be sent via DropBox (only as a \u00ab\u00a0view\u00a0\u00bb, not as an \u00ab\u00a0editor) or Google Drive in a single folder to the email: info [at] evimus [dot] de.<\/p>\n<p>The application must fulfill the following requirements:<\/p>\n<p>1. PDF, ODT or DOC with contact information, composer\u2019s biography, nationality, date of birth and a description of the idea of your work (program notes).<\/p>\n<p>2. Audio file .AIFF or .WAV format 16bit or 24bit at 44,1kHz sampling rate containing a stereo version of the piece (Category A or B),<br \/>\nor<br \/>\nvideo file .MOV (Category C),<br \/>\nor<br \/>\nPDF file with the score for instrument and electronic (Category B),<br \/>\nor<br \/>\nDocumentation with Fotos, Video, Description, etc. (Category D)<\/p>\n<p>3. Additionally, for multichannel pieces (Category A), send the audio files corresponding to each of the channels inside a separate folder (Audio file .AIFF or .WAV format 16bit or 24bit at 44,1kHz sampling rate).<\/p>\n<p>Please do not send email file attachments.<\/p>\n<p>Composers can submit several works (but only one work per composer will be include in the concerts). Works which last 8 minutes or less are preferred; no work should exceed 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>On the \u00ab\u00a04. Saarbr\u00fccker Tage f\u00fcr elektroakustiche und visuelle Musik\u00a0\u00bb will also be room for discussions about the relation between music, technology and society. Everyone is welcome to participate. In order to organize these discussion-related sessions conveniently, everyone is welcome to submit papers with hypotheses, ideas or proposals.
